A previous reviewer stated he was able to skip all the videos and jump right in. I've played plenty of RPGs and FPSs from Far Cry to Witcher 2 to Battlefield 2, and I still had no idea which buttons I was expected to press. They stuff you in the middle of a plot with plenty of strange dialogue and give you twenty-three videos as a tutorial, but the game remains obtuse. The devs drop you into a game with no instructions and no plot, but it's easy to figure out. This will be the best $20 you spent on a game in a long time! … Expand The devs keep in good contact via the Steam forum for EYE and have vowed to patch and support their popular new game. One thing that stands out about EYE is that you can advance your character via both single & multiplayer. Hacking, stealth, melee, sniper, assault style, ninja style, PSI abilities, cyber implants. You can play your character in many different way depending on what build you like.
It's truly a unique game world and will leave you wanting to explore the levels thoroughly. Though it's built on the older Source engine, the game world is simply stunning. If you like Sci-Fi, FPS, RPGs and huge open levels then this game is for you. Though it's built on the older Source This is a rare indie gem.
